What Is Professional Teeth Whitening?
Professional teeth whitening involves the use of a peroxide gel. We will take some impressions of your teeth and have some custom-made trays prepared. Usually overnight we recommend wearing the trays with the peroxide gel inside, as we will instruct you. It is then absorbed by your teeth, penetrating the enamel and altering its tone. This then allows your teeth to appear whiter and brighter. It only takes a couple of nights to start seeing results!

Are there any side effects?
The following day your teeth may become a bit more sensitive but not all whitening gel is the same. We feel we have chosen a whitening gel that minimises the risk of sensitivity following application so that it does not reduce your motivation.
How long does the whitening last?
The effects of teeth whitening are permanent. Depending on your diet and lifestyle certain things may cause your teeth to discolour again over time eg. smoking or drinking lots of black coffee. But the whitening trays are yours forever so you can top up your whitening at any time following your initial course.
